Storage & Preparation Guidelines.
Our HAKKO Plant-Based Sausages are delivered to you frozen in vacuum-sealed packs, ensuring optimal freshness. Each pack will have a 1-year expiration date from the production date. For best quality, we recommend keeping the sausages frozen until ready for use. Please defrost your sausages in the refrigerator. Once defrosted, they have a recommended chilled shelf life of 3-4 days.
Reheating & Cooking Instructions.
Our sausages feature a delicate, natural seaweed-based casing that is sensitive to direct open flame and excess moisture. For optimal texture and flavor, we highly recommend pan-sautéing with a small amount of oil. This method allows the casing to brown beautifully and crisp up, enhancing the overall experience.
While our sausages are fully cooked before delivery, for food safety, please ensure they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (167°F) upon reheating.
Should you choose alternative cooking methods, such as deep-frying or microwaving, please exercise your discretion.
